Oliver had the same reaction to milk bones, they are gone from our house forever. I am not a food expert.but I did listen to Karen, she is the food guru, she has done so much research and everything she has told me has been proven right by the way Oliver is. Hope you are doing ok, sry to hear about Eddies problem. Has anyone heard of Milk Bones causing a problem? He feels lousy, has pooped five times this morning. My husband admitted to giving him some Milk Bone Treats. My trainer also suggested white rice and chicken so we have done all of the above. They also put him on Purina Vet Diets Dual Fiber Control to mix with his regular Large Breed Puppy Blue kibble. They put him on Metronidazole and it cleared up immediately. They say it was from standing water and he had been in the mud and water at the dog park a few days prior. After the holiday it occurred again and the sample showed spirochetes. Before Thanksgivning this year ( he was 8 months, close to 70 pounds) it was noticibalby worse, so we took a sample into the vet. Hi All: Eddie has always had intermittent loose stool and diarrhea ever since we've had him from 11 weeks old. Posted by Cheryl and Eddie on Decemat 8:59am
